WinifredJ is committed to practices that honour the Earth and all of her people.

  • Made To Last

We spare no expense in our production process, electing for techniques that take more time but produce a higher quality product.

WinifredJ pieces are ethically made-to-order or in super small batches here in Devon. We choose to produce this way to avoid waste from overproduction.

From the moment you place your order we begin the process. Ordering the fabric, hand cutting the pieces, sewing and then packaging it with love.

Please allow up to 21 days for the making and sending of your pieces. Sewing takes time love and patience; we like to keep things slow and special.

  • Sourcing

Beautiful William Morris prints are at the heart of what we do. Wherever possible, we source all materials as close to home as we can.  We carefully consider the suppliers we work with and our choice of materials, sourcing quality fabrics and natural fibres that are biodegradable.

Our high quality fabrics are printed and manufactured here in the United Kingdom.

Many of our smaller products are made from studio off-cuts, minimising waste. Any much smaller fabric scraps that can’t be used in the studio are sent to local schools for crafting projects.

  • Packaging

We care a great deal about taking responsibility for the production of our pieces. We, therefore find it equally important to care for how we package and send our pieces to the customer.

We reuse all packaging we receive, so if you do receive a box from us which looks like it has been used before, that's because it has!

We won't buy any single use plastic. All packaging we buy is made from 100% post-consumer waste and 0% plastic, all our envelopes are  recyclable, biodegradable and plastic free.
